As there are many miles of hills, mountains and countryside here, we wanted to let you sample as much of the terrain as possible but taking it easy on the pedalling side. We have collared our friendly local terrain expert in to provide a shuttle service so you spend more time riding downhill and a little less energy slogging up fire roads. There will, of course, be pedalling involved but we’ve tried to cut this down to a warm-ups length rather than half the day.
This means we can get up to eight different descents in a day and so you get to see landscapes reminiscent of anywhere from Switzerland to Spain as well as the expected lush greenness of Wales.
As this involves riding away from the trail centres and out in the wilds, you’d expect nothing less than the best of your guide. Ben is one of the highest qualified guides in the country having passed the recently launched British Cycling Level 3 Mountain Bike guide qualifications. He is also Outdoor Emergency First Aid qualified and a Cytech Grade 3 mechanic so readily prepared for any eventuality. He will be there to help you get to the end of each section with both you and your bike unscathed.
So, with guide, mechanic, shuttle service, lunch and plenty of local knowledge to hand, what more would you need to have the perfect days guided riding.
Prices start from £80pp based on 6 riders.
