The G-170 S scored the perfect 10 and was named Editor’s Choice by MBR as well as being crowned Best Value MTB in the 2018 Pinkbike awards. Available in the UK from late June 2019, the v2 spec adds RockShox’s new Lyric fork with a Charger 2 damper, an upgraded rear shock and improved brakes to the award-winning mix.
The v2 S is loaded with the very latest spec developments in Enduro/Trail bikes, like the new WTB ST i30mm 2.0 rims which further improve the performance of the front and rear specific TCS tyres, whilst maintaining neutral handling.
The G-170 platform is designed around Whyte’s performance-enhancing Optimised Trail Offset geometry which also features the most compact seat-tubes possible on all sizes – meaning riders can choose the size with the reach they prefer, and simply adjust the seat-post to fit.
